Cancellation Policy

All services that include a deposit the deposit is non-refundable, except in the case East West Wellness STL cancels the appointment and is unable to provide the service within sixty (60) days of original scheduled service, in which case the deposit will be refunded. All cancellations received via text or voicemail to 314-917-8236 24 hours before scheduled service will be honored and applied to your next service scheduled. For services without a deposit, the first cancellation is waived, but all future cancellations will incur a cost of $25. We reserve the right to refuse service at any point to any person for any reason. If we begin the service and for whatever reason the therapist is not comfortable enough to complete the service, you are still obligated to pay the full price of the service. and will not be permitted to book future services with East West Wellness STL.

Client Waiver Agreement

I understand that massage therapy is provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, and improvement of circulation and energy flow.
If I experience pain or discomfort during the session, I will immediately inform my therapist so that pressure/strokes can be adjusted to my level of comfort. I will not hold my therapist responsible for any pain or discomfort I experience during or after the session.
I understand I am empowered to end any massage or other service offering at any point for any reason
I understand that the services offered today are not a substitute for medical care. I understand that my therapist is not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness.
I affirm that I have notified my therapist of all known medical conditions and injuries.
I agree to inform the therapist of any changes in my health and medical condition. I understand that there shall be no liability on the therapist’s part should I forget to do so.
I understand that massage is entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.
I understand that, because massage therapy work involves maintained touch and close physical proximity over an extended period of time, there may be an elevated risk of disease transmission, including COVID-19.
By booking, I hereby waive and release my therapist from any and all liability, past, present, and future relating to massage therapy and bodywork.

IN NO EVENT SHALL EAST WEST WELLNESS STL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO EAST WEST WELLNESS FOR ANY PRODUCT(S) OR SERVICES AT ISSUE, EVEN IF EAST WEST WELLNESS STL HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, WHETHER IN AN ACTION UNDER CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE, INABILITY TO USE, OR PERFORMANCE OF THE INFORMATION, SERVICES, PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS AVAILABLE FROM THIS WEBSITE. NO ACTION OR PROCEEDING MAY BE BROUGHT AGAINST EAST WEST WELLNESS STL WITH RESPECT TO ANY CLAIM OR DISPUTE ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS SITE.
